MHA Reports: Overview

Community Investment

Whether it has 500 beds or is a small, rural hospital with 25 beds, every Missouri hospital is an asset to its community. As patients, we rely on hospitals to provide essential medical services. We also understand the vital economic contributions from the hospital and its employees strengthen our communities. These two reports illustrate how hospitals meet their community obligations through charity care and other community financial contributions and how their investments into the community benefit our economy.
